1. Objectives of the 40m lab
   1. testbed for AdvLIGO LSC / AdVLIGO (green/CDS)
   2. platform for developing Advanced techniques
2. Current status of the upgrade preparation
   1. Optics and Suspensions
      • Done: All optics suspended and installed in the vacuum chamber
      • Done: ITMs and ETMs are dichroic (details?)
      • Done: New optical layout in place
   2. Electronics (RF system)
      • Under construction: Multiple frequency RF generator to preserve the phase noise performance of the oscillator
      • Under construction: RF signal distribution (oscillators, splitters, amplifiers, etc.)
      • Done: Triple-Resonant EOM (New Focus KTP + resonant circuit) requires further improvement
      • To be done: Finish the PDs / Install the photodiodes on the tables
   3. Green beam injection
      • Done: x-end NPRO locked to the X-arm
      • Done: Beat note between PSL and X-end_NPRO observed
      • Very close to stabilising the beat note by acting on the end-laser temperature
   4. CDS -
   5. PSL laser/table upgrade
      • Done: Table raised and all optics re-positioned in accordance with the new optical layout
