Seismic Simulations
- Look up Matlab fft2, for using to transform site building shapes into k-space
- Take a more thorough look at reflections simulation. What does it mean?
Fix refl simulation!
- What is the next step?
- Repeat scattering stuff for incident Rayleigh waves.
- Repeat scattering stuff for incident S-waves.
- Want to know ratios of inc. waves to outgoing waves, for all combos of inc. and out. waves. This is to figure out where the energy is going.
- Try to do scattering for incident spherical pressure waves. Use one topographic scale, and decompose the spherical wave into a sum of incident plane waves.
- Take a spatial spectrum of the surface displacement. Take Fourier transform of the surface displacement. Plot should be similar to reflection coefficients. Can compare later with real data, maybe back out what kind of incident wave structure we have at the sites.
- Read Jan's paper draft on NN.
Seismometers
- Use Altium to remake the Guralp breakout box. Make it less crappy this time.
- Make breakout boards / boxes for STS-2s.
Microphones
- Connect them to the DAQ.
- Try to do something with them.
Mode Cleaner
PMC
- Draw up 4inch PMC base in solidworks, send it to be made.
- Send drawing to people who need it.
- Use Altium to design a new PMC circuit board. Get it made.
RF System
- Check on RAMmon
