Ernie's
Ernie's truck has a wide variety of Mexican-American food. Very good, very cheap ($4).

Chandler Dining Hall
Main campus cafeteria. Custom designed pizza is excellent. Alberto says it's the best pizza in Pasadena.
Broad Cafe
Food isn't great, but they do burgers to order on the grill. Make sure to insist on 'rare' to get medium. Or else they make it black. Main attraction is they have beer. Do not order "Thai" offerings!
Athaneum
Fancy faculty club place on campus. Need to be a member. Has bar in the basement. Outdoor seating in the summer. "Kobe" beef burgers are good.
Souplantation
Close to campus, at Lake and Cordova. Good buffet restaurant: large salad bars, pizza, focaccia, pasta, hot soups, frozen yogurt, pastries, coffee, sodas. Perfect for vegetarians who also enjoy healthy food. Buffet ticket for Caltech people is about $9.
Cham
Recently opened (August 09) Korean Bistro on Del Mar (North side, near the intersection with Lake). Veggie friendly. "Modern" Korean cuisine with clean presentation and select offerings. Don't expect any sizzling stone pots, but the flavors of traditional Korean fare shine through. 3.5 stars.

On Lake near California, West side. Mediterranean food. Cheap and not too bad. Lunch buffet discounted for Caltech. Being served by the Armenian owner completes the middle-eastern ethnic experience. Belly dancers on Friday night.
Matsuri
Sushi place on Wilson and Green. Kind of pricey, but its the closest Sushi place. Not bad.
Bistro K
Very good / very expensive, french-style bistro. Unkown quality change since former chef Laurent Quinoux left, but probably still good.
Tarantino's Pizza
Good pizza, not expensive. No Delivery. Within walking distance; on Green St. one block west of Lake. Menu images: BR 
Chipotle
Fast food Mexican chain, with sustainably raised pork. Excellent, reasonably priced burritos. Serves beer and margaritas. On Lake.
Zankou Chicken
LA institution founded by Armenians. Good roasted chicken. On Colorado near Chester.
Il Capo Cafe
Nice little Argentinian/Italian place on Green near Catalina. Friendly service, excellent steaks.
Tartine
In San Fransisco. Highly recommended by Steve, especially the Croque Monsieur. http://www.tartinebakery.com/
Daisy Mint
Asian fusion place on Colorado near Chester. Cheap & good.
Romeo's Pizza
Need menu...
