This page describes the system requirements before we can install the DC readout and OMC.


  1. Vacuum compatible shutter - (Uniblitz? Tip/Tilt fast shutter? JPL chen/hochberg/moore

  3. Beam block for OMC DC diode reflection
  4. In-vacuum connectorization of tip/tilt pigtails, OMC L PZT, and OMMT picomotor
    • Maybe 9pin D's per axis for the tip/tilts.

  7. OMC PZT driver
    1. Minimum: Thorlabs PZT driver plus SRS 830
    2. Maximum: LIGO PZT driver plus digital mod/demod and servo
  8. Alignment PZT drivers
    1. tip/tilt for 2 mirrors - 4 DOF
    2. Minimum: DC complementary control of 0-150 V for 4 DOF
      • (8 voltages, 2 per DOF)
    3. Maximum: LIGO PZT driver plus digital mod/demod,
      • input/output matrices and servo filters
  9. CDS hardware
    1. Minimum: interface from vacuum flanges and satellite box to BNC
    2. Maximum: dual CPU PCI computer with:
      1. local frame builder
      2. bridge to 40m frame builder for selected channels
      3. ADC, DAC, and reflective memory boards
      4. wiring from ADC/DAC to cross connects
      5. wiring from cross connects to PZT and
        • photodiode hardware
      6. length and angle servo software
