[[ Consumer Report: one of a few advanced models with excellent image quality for low light and flash.
- It has a swiveling LCD and excellent viewfinder, that can be very user friendly inside the chamber. ]]
Cons / Pros
- Pros: Variangle LCD
- Cons: heavy (755g)
===== IR option ======
- if we want to remove the IR blocker and focus in the IR we need electronic viewfinder: Olympus OM-D E-M5
Koji
- We should avoid Olympus. Olympus is going to quit from Full DSLR categoly in future, focusing on compact DSLRs and high-end point-and-shoot cameras.
- I like Canon's interface but don't Nikon's.
Recommendation: Canon EOS Rebel T3i $699@Amazon

- Pros: Variangle LCD useful for unusual angles, in-chamber photos, OSEM checking, etc

Comparison between D3100, D5100, Canon, Olympus XZ-1 (Koji's)
- [LEFT] D3100 isn't so great even compared with KA's compact camera. D5100 and Canon T4i looks fine.
- [RIGHT] T4i's resolution for the metalic parts looks great.
Comparison within Canon
- T3i is as good as the other same-level or high-end products of Canon.
Manasa
- I recommend to go for the next generation of true high resolution cameras; in which case nikon D3200 competes with the high end slrs but is a significantly cheaper option (699USD on amazon).
