Lab's Honor Code
Remember that you are part of a team and every action should be aimed at achieving the collective interest of the group. There is no room for conflicts. Pursuing your own benefit at detriment of the team's is not allowed.
The 10 Golden Rules in Lab
- elog everything
- always think and act with a long term perspective in mind
Work Bench Rules
- The bench has to be cleared and cleaned up right after finishing working on it.
It is OK to keep the bench busy until a particular job is completely done, i.e. for a few days during which work is still in progress. But then clean up after yourself.
- Spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes and other equipment have to be taken back into the lab after finishing using them in the work benches.
Don'ts
- Leave wrenches and tools around the lab.
- Leave foods on the tables and around the sink. Thousands of ants will come.
Do's
- Contribute to the Wiki sharing what you learn
- When you solve a problem in the lab, make sure the solution gets somehow recorded and it becomes easily accessible and understandable to yourself anyone else in the future.
