Fall 2018 Upgrade of 40m Vacuum System
Goals
- Install a network of Ethernet-capable vacuum gauges to replace the old serial-switchbox units.
- Replace the EPICS/hardware translation layer with Python-based code.
- Other hardware changes? Valves, pumps, computers?
