    2. Peter Kalmus: since March, working on locking
    3. Caryn Palatchi: leaving for grad school
    B. Recovered good lock acquisition performance.
    1. After lots of annoying problems.
    2. Initial, non-deterministic "grabby" phase is well-optimized.
    3. Several steps/transitions will soon have automated optimization.
    C. 3f simulatons (Alberto Stochino)

III. Upgrade

  1. Upgrade Items List
    1. Optics
    2. Smaller optics: folding mirrors, aux. locking, etc.
    3. CDS Status
      1. Layout diagram b. All ADCs, DACs, BOs, IO Chassis, computers, fibers, in house. c. Adapter boards still being packaged d. Integration of cards-chassis-backplanes-cpus ongoing and tricky.
    B. Decision made to use 11/55 MHz instead of 9/45 MHz: easier layout C. Contract for ITMs, PRM, SRM to ATF (Advanced Thin Films). Expected delivery mid-September. D. Folding mirrors for RCs:
    1. ANU tip/tilt: Blade Springs? Compliant Eddy current damping?
    2. Optics - CVI? REO? ATF?
    E. SOS Towers for new, light ITMs: Made by Mike Myer (LLO) - en route to 40m.
