Here is a rough schedule:

July 25-26 (2 days)

  • Compile detailed OMC, OMMT, PZT, hardware list, dissassemble hardware and
    • deliver to Bob for baking.

July 27 (1 day)

  • Prepare clean room for in-air clean prealignment of OMC. Clear unneeded equipment
    • from flowbench and remove window (if necessary). Couple the NPRO to two 50m fibers, run fibers through doggy door to clean room. Wipe down all necessary auxilliary equipment: mirror mounts, electronics (lock-in, power supplies, PZT drivers), cables, tools, etc, and move to clean room.

Aug 21 - 25 (5-8 days)

  • Receive baked hardware from Bob
  • Begin with assembly/alignment of OMMT, (potentially using the autocollimators)
  • Align OMC, glue bracket onto body
  • Align full breadboarded setup
  • Test new tip/tilt PZTs
  • Oct 3 - new PZT from PJ; Oct 20 - repaired one
  • Fill PD preamp nipple with Krypton 83 (or Xenon - 131, Ne 20)
  • fix IPPOS, IPANG
    • Set references on IPANG & IPPOS in vacuum Check IP beam centering on pick-off mirrors in vacuum Check all oplev centering

Sep 5 (1 day)

  • Vent
    • Check-reestablish oplevs & IP refs

  • Remove AC from OO to IO
  • Remove North door of BSC
  • Remove North door of ITMX
  • Remove North door of OO?

Sep 6-8 (3 days)

  • Check beam centering on mc3
  • define input beam
    • Measure levelness of OOC, IOC, BS & ITMX

  • Install and align in-vac beamline,
    • Output beams: OMCR, OMCT, SV beam
  • BS chamber TT mirror installation, cable to ITMX chamber
  • align Go's translation stage mirror

Sep 11-13 (3 days)

  • Fix-up some OSEMS in the BSC
  • seal up, final checks
  • pump down Sep 13

Remainder of Sep, October:

  • lock IFO in suitable configuration
  • establish DC readout beamline with analog electronics / controls,
    • probably no alignment servo
  • install and commission new CDS electronics / controls
  • commission bridge between PCIX and Refl Mem LSC system
  • tune, optimize, measure and understand DC readout signal
    • - mode matching - alignment dither servo optimization - OMC servo optimization - PD readout
  • control DARM with DC PD signal
  • measure noise, compare with RF readout
  • begin squeezed vacuum experiment (Kirk Mckenzie visit)
