This should be kept up-to-date. This is an overview of our near-term goals. We can link to other TODO lists from here.

Finishing in-vac work

We need to try to get this finished by the END OF THIS WEEK (1/18/2013).

• Finish TT installation
• Recover full alignment
• Lock PRC
• Extract sensor card, allen key, ants from chamber before closing

PR/DR MI commissioning

This is primary goal. We need to have this working by the end of the month (1/13).

• Lock both arms and optimally align
  • Center spots on the ITMs
• Lock the PRMI
• PRMI measurements:
  • Good camera images:
    • REFL
    • AS
    • POP - improve this camera. Expand the beam, and adjust the brightness
    • PR/BS face - get these hooked up
  • OSA
    • REFL
    • AS
  • Power budget at all available ports, include 1f(22)/2f(110)
    • PRC gain
  • Sensing matrix
  • Cavity length (use new Anamaria method)
  • Loop gain (make sure loop is stable for measurements)
  • Noise budget
• Full Finesse model.
• Fix hardware anti-aliasing in LSC (move up cutoff freq to correspond to sample rate)

Full IFO Locking

Roughly three months.

End table upgrade

Project page. On best-effort basis, although we'll need to coordinate exactly when we do the end-table swap out.

Things to prepare for next vent

We have no immediate plan to vent in the near future, but I'm going to be checking on progress of this stuff weekly:

• New TT risers
• Black glass beam dumps
• New OSEM mount screws
• New periscope plate
