. Measure detailed DARM transfer functions  . Get the ETM dewhitening filters engaged.
Line 7: Line 7:
. Measure laser noise couplings.  . Take a calibrated noise spectrum.

 . Do some noise hunting.

. Measure detailed DARM transfer functions. This includes detailed, high coherence, open loop transfer functions in a DC readout state and an RF readout state. Transfer functions at different DC Readout DARM offsets (plus and minus, varying magnitude). Measure both phases of AS166 to see how the TF varies with demod phase.

. Measure noise couplings from auxiliary degrees of freedom (MICH, PRCL, SRCL) to DARM. Implement rudimentary feedforward to cancel these noises, using the output matrix. The next smart thing will be to use adaptive feedforward using the ASS.

. Diagonalize the MIMO control block for the short DOFs (MICH, PRCL, SRCL). This is Peter's Number One Action Item.

. Measure laser noise couplings. Amplitude and phase. DC/RF

. Measure oscillator noise couplings. Amplitude and phase. DC/RF

. Add to this list. Be creative.

Measurement Plans / Near Term actions

  • OMC mode scanning. Scan the OMC length, soon after an optimal alignment. Repeat the scan several times during the first ~30 minutes of a full lock stretch to see how the modes at the AS port evolve as the IFO heats up/drifts.
  • Get the ETM dewhitening filters engaged.
  • Take a calibrated noise spectrum.
