A useful utility to access the raw RFM network memory and do diagnostics is located on fb40m.

ssh fb40m

cd /usr/install/rfm2g_solaris/vmipci/sw-rfm2g-abc-005/util/diag/

rfm2g_util

When it asks for which device, enter the number 3.

At this point you can type help for a list of commands.  You can also type "help command", where command is replaced with the name of the command you're interested in.

"help read" for example describes a function which reads a memory location on the RFM network.

There are also some diagnostic tools for testing if the RFM network rings is working properly.
